E7x X5 X6 10.25" Wireless CarPlay Android Auto Head Unit

A feature that is standard on so many new cars today can now be installed on your E chassis BMW, supporting full touch screen Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality, OEM iDrive interface retention at the hold of a button, a larger high resolution screen, wireless or wired connectivity, and additional connections for accessories like back up cameras as well! This is not an android device with apps and tablet-like functionality, this is strictly a unit for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. 

This unit is a screen replacement, and utilizes a piggy back harness that must be routed through the dash down to your radio unit, it is fully plug and play although professional installation is highly recommended. Please note a common install error is that the optical cable (green cable) MUST be transferred over to the piggyback harness, not remain on the factory radio plug harness. NOTE: You must select CIC if your factory interface is the newer CIC software, or CCC if yours is the older style interface, pictures can be found online of what either option looks like. If you are still unsure please contact us with a picture of your iDrive before placing your order.
